This song's all over the place right now, and with good reason- it covers more ground in 5 minutes than most albums this year do in an hour.
One more thing before I face my IR paper: this weekend (or maybe it was earlier) the
trailer for
Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby, this summer's Will Ferrell vehicle, was released. It shares more than a few similarities with Anchorman, but I'm not complaining.
Just a bit of exciting news before I head off to class:
Georgie James, the post-Q And Not U project of drummer John Davis and Laura Burhenn, finally announced a handful of tour dates on their
myspace page. What's more, they'll be playing with the Joggers, which should make for quite the show.
Not much going, just a quiet weekend at home before things start to ramp up at school, and I've no doubt that they will.
Sounding vaguely like Animal Collective at the beach, this stuff has a tendency to drag on in parts, but by all means, don't let that stop you.
