Add equal parts Gloaming and Worrywort; mix well.

Thom Yorke - Harrowdown Hill (m4a) (The Eraser, 2006)
Thom Yorke - The Clock (m4a) (The Eraser, 2006)

Nothing too amazing here, but it's a nice enough holdover until the Radiohead album's done.

Admittedly, a different group, but this picture needed to be posted nonetheless.

Yeah, so the French are still pretty good at that whole electronic music deal...

Para One - Dudun-Dun (Epiphanie, 2006)
Para One - Midnight Swim (Epiphanie, 2006)
Daft Punk - Prime Time of Your Life (Para One remix) (Human After All Remixes, 2006)

(It's pretty loud)

I know the chances are slim, but oh, if only they'd release a live album. One can hope.

Only halfway done with exams, if you can believe that shit.

After a drought of sorts, there've been leaks galore in the past couple of days- the new Futureheads, Sufjan, and Walkmen albums can all be in your mitts now if you look around hard enough. I haven't really had the time to give each of them a good listen, but here are some of the standout tracks thus far:

The Futureheads - Back to the Sea (News and Tributes, 2006)
The Walkmen - Lost in Boston (A Hundred Miles Off, 2006)
The Walkmen - All Hands and the Cook (A Hundred Miles Off, 2006)
Sufjan Stevens - The Perpetual Self, or "What Would Saul Alinsky Do? (The Avalanche, 2006)

Tickets for the North American Radiohead shows went on sale this morning, and as would be expected, they sold out in -5 minutes, or thereabouts. Devoted fan that I am, I completely forgot, so now I'll either have to head to Bonnaroo, or hope more shows are forthcoming. Then again, there's always Ebay, but that's not gonna happen. Barely an hour ago I saw a pair of Philly tickets going for over $1100. 0_o

Once I fumble my way through this week's exams, there seem to be quite a few good local shows however, which should cushion the above blow somewhat. For starters, !!!, who I missed last time in '04, are returning to the Black Cat, as are Pinback. Georgie James, Dungen, Liars, Diplo, the Walkmen, and Prefuse 73 are also on tap, and Fort Reno should begin announcing dates any day now. There's a lot to look forward to, so for everyone in the middle of testing, good luck, and I'll see you on the outside.

Mason Proper - 100 Yrs. (There Is a Moth in Your Chest, 2006)
Mason Proper - A Chance Encounter (There Is a Moth in Your Chest, 2006)

Some of what I'll be missing this summer:

Radiohead - Bodysnatchers (Live @ Koko, London UK 5/1/06)

I'm gonna lose my shit when this album gets out...
