Haha, you're right Boston, this looks just like a bomb...
the new LCD Soundsystem isn't bad, but exam week most certainly is.
A year-end best-of list might be forthcoming, if I have the time and/or willpower.
Nope, I didn't die, although for a couple of days this week it looked like a close call, what with all the shit due before Thanksgiving. Nothing much has happened since my last post, just the occasional show here and there. Maybe I'm becoming crotchety in my old age, but it seems like Charlottesville hasn't hosted many exciting bands this fall. Regardless, this past weekend I was fortunate enough to attend one of the best concerts I've ever seen. I am, of course, referring to Daft Punk's performance at the Bang music festival in Miami. Granted, the set was only slightly changed from their Coachella show this spring, as was the lighting, but they were new to me, and damn was it incredible.
Oh yeah, and my camera's mic can't handle even the slightest bass, so...
Yeah, that's him.

Endure the intro, and you'll hear some solid shite...
Somehow I missed this one last month. It doesn't stray too far from its predecessor, but the overall tempo has been lowered a bit.
Hmm, time'll tell with this one...
