As you may've heard, everyone's favorite Norwegian nerd, Erlend Øye, has had a dance-pop side project in the works for some time now. Fittingly dubbed Whitest Boy Alive, the band's first effort, Dreams, was leaked a couple of days ago. It's pretty damn sparse, but that's what they were going for, so I can't really fault them for it. I could still go for some new Kings of Convenience, however.

Whitest Boy Alive - Fireworks (Dreams, 2006)
Whitest Boy Alive - Golden Cage (Dreams, 2006)

One for the road:

Kings of Convenience - Gold for the Price of Silver (Erot remix) (Versus, 2001)
